Aston Martin F1 News: Team Releases AMR23 Reveal Date For Next Season’s Car

Aston Martin is set to unveil its new 2023 F1 car, the AMR23, on February 13th, 2023 at an event held at Silverstone. The event, which will be broadcast across digital channels as well as being attended by a small audience, marks the official reveal of the highly anticipated car.

The team’s previous car, the AMR22, faced several challenges during the 2022 season, with issues similar to those experienced by Mercedes at the beginning of the year. In response, the team made significant changes to the car’s design starting with the Spanish Grand Prix, adopting a similar approach to Red Bull. These changes ultimately led to improvements for the team, and they ended the season in seventh place in the constructor’s championship.

Technical director Dan Fallows has hinted at further changes being made to the AMR23, stating that there will be “significant” modifications to the car. Fans of the team will no doubt be eager to see what these changes will be and how they will impact the performance of the car.

He said the following:

“I mean there is a limit to what we can do with the current rules. I know that new cars always have to pass my test of my children. So if I put them in front of my children and they say they look different, then they look different.

“They always say they all look the same, daddy! But within the envelope of the rules that we have, then yes, there are significant differences on the AMR23.”

In addition to the reveal of the new car, fans will also be excited to see the team’s new driver line up for the 2023 season. Spanish F1 legend Fernando Alonso will be joining Aston Martin and will be driving alongside Lance Stroll. Alonso had his first run with the team at the post-season testing in Abu Dhabi, giving fans a sneak peek at what they can expect from the two drivers next season.

Overall, the unveiling of the AMR23 is sure to be a highly anticipated event for fans of Aston Martin and F1 enthusiasts alike. The team will be hoping that the new car will bring them the success they have been striving for and help them climb the ranks in the constructor’s championship.
